Review by hotel critic
As a historian fascinated by Central European medieval architecture, my recent stay at Maximilian in Prague was a delightful immersion into both historical charm and modern luxury. Maximilian's location is unparalleled - a stone's throw from key attractions. The meticulously crafted hotel exuded an atmosphere of refined elegance, a testament to the owner's meticulous attention to detail. The pièce de résistance, however, was the culinary experience at Bar Maximilian. Each morning, I indulged in a royal spread of freshly baked pastries, cheeses, and warm dishes that rivalled a royal feast. The à la carte menu boasted gluten-free selections and divine waffles, perfectly complemented by a wide selection of organic wines and artisan cocktails.Despite the proximity to other dining options, Maximilian's culinary offerings were a standout. The staff's professionalism and warmth added a personal touch to each dining experience. My gratitude extends to Omar, Solomon, and bartender Johnny for their exceptional service. If you seek a gourmet getaway with a historical twist, Maximilian is a must-visit in Prague.
